Before i buy apple tv i just wanna make sure of somethings and they're: 1)Do you get a free subscription with it? 2)or once you buy it every show and movie is for free? 3)do you need to rent movies like what you do in iTunes?

You have to buy, rent or subscribe to everything on it.

 

You get a one year subscription to Apple TV+ (just the few shows they're producing themselves), but that's it.

To add to what Vitamanic said, services that are free elsewhere are free on the Apple TV (YouTube, Twitch and the like) -- you just don't get any more freebies beyond that one year of Apple TV+ service.  If you want to rent a movie or subscribe to a service like Netflix or Prime Video, you'll need to pay like anyone else.

If you have an extensive iTunes library,  a Apple TV on your account will get access to all of that. (and it can connect to your computer's itunes libraries).

If you're an apple household, they're VERY good addition.
