So for Christmas, I got a Sapphire Pulse Radeon rx 580 8gb

I got it to replace a pre-existing gpu, I believe it was ironically an XFX Radeon rx 480 (I’m aware its not much of an upgrade, the old one is just someone else’s and he wanted it back)

I have installed the GPU into my computer booted up, installed drivers, and after restarting, for good measure, I loaded up layers of fear to see if it would run that well, and my next test was going to be on Destiny 2.  I booted up layers of fear, the loading screens ran smoothly, everything checked out, but when I loaded physically into the game, my screen had textural glitches and basically pooped itself, crashing the game near immediately.  I thought it was odd, so I loaded up Destiny next to see if it was just the game.  Loading screens were still fine, but I loaded up the Crucible (pvp) and the moment I physically manifested inside the game, it crashed after a short blip of cracked textures.  I tried CS:GO, it worked, but had constant display issues.  I tried League of Legends and had a similar experience to CS:GO.

My personal troubleshooting was as follows:
-reinstalling drivers
-trying different drivers
-using the driver disc that came with the gpu
-making sure every driver installed was up to date
-flipping the switch on the gpu between computation mode and gaming mode
(the default is gaming)
-I used DDU; uninstalling all drivers excluding intel drivers
-enabling directX3D

For anyone that can help, the information I know that can narrow down the solution is as follows:
-I run 64bit windows 10 and I chose the corresponding drivers off of Radeon.com for the rx 580
-My computer recognizes that the gpu is there and it is displayed as what it is advertised

If you think that it could just be defunct, let me know the reasoning so that i can try and verify

Any troubleshooting help is appreciated,
Thank you for reading this

Use DDU to remove any GPU drivers, Nvidia and AMD then use Adrenalin 2020 to install the newest drivers for your card.
