Today i turned my PC on and all the icons weren't there and i couldn't click anything

This happened after i shutdown by PC by holding the power button (force shutdown) a couple of hours ago if that piece of information matters. But anyway after a few more restarts the same thing kept happening and at this point i was slightly panicking but this one time i decided to wait to see if anything changed and soon after the screen went black for several minutes and everything came back on like normal all the icons reappeared. Right now i'm still afraid to shut the computer down but everything seems to be working as they should so is this something I should worry about? Will the issue persist?

I agree here. Sounds like Windows had an Icon / Explorer corruption but corrected itself!
