My pc is stuttering

You can try setting it to 3200mhz in bios instead of trying to max it out at 3666mhz, see if that helps.

@Pbrug_1 You might have better luck with posting your specs. It could be a number of things. 

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

Is that the monitor's rated refresh or one set through Display Settings?

Do the Windows animations appear smooth? Can you show your settings screen?

I think what you may be experiencing is a sudden drastic change in your frame rate and you are probably using Vsync so your frame rate is at a steady 60fps with your old 60Hz monitor, but when use your 165Hz monitor you are probably getting stuttering because your system cannot maintain a steady 165fps, is my best guess.

 

Also, what games are having the stuttering? Sometimes it is a problem with the game.

And do you have FreeSync?
