With the new curved and bendable LCD in phones, We could have a android smart mouse. you could lay out any number of buttons, macro buttons and scroll wheels in any shape, size and form across the whole mouse and have it as custom design as you want. you could even have twitter feed or anything as part of the mouse surface.  If you want 50 small side buttons or change the mouse for left handed people it would be no problems. The whole surface could be bendable/flexible. so you got the click just like with a physical button.

Do you think this is the future? Or did they already make this?

The difficulty with something like this, other than folding screens being WAY too expensive at the moment, is the haptic feedback. If you want 5 macros on the side, how are you going to tell the difference between them while you're going through an intense battle in League of Legends? They would have to stick out of the side in distinct bumps, which a screen can't do. Any more complex systems, like pushers that make the screen bulge out, would add so much weight and complexity to the mouse that it wouldn't be worth it.

The solution is a mouse like this (naga trinity) where you can swap the sides, and choose from a few options:

You could custom  fit the 5 most used buttons to where you rest/hold your 5 fingers. No need to move them., and have buttons inwards or to the side of them in any manner, It would look very different to a naga or any mouse. And not everyone wants macro keys, It was only a example.

Since everyone has different hands, everyone could fit the buttons differently.

I don't know how you use your mouse, but I don't look at mine while using it. So using a screen is just unnecessary. If you just want touch sensitive areas, you end up with an Apple Magic mouse. Personally, I like to actually be able to feel where the buttons are.

People also want light mice for competitive games. That's why you typically don't see nice with many buttons in eSports. Ambidextrous mice are a thing, and some of them are very good. E.g. the Zowie FK series and SS Sensei series.
