"Most" tablets do not have a built-in flash?

Go to solution Solved by SirRoderick,

Why the bloody hell would a tablet need a flashlight? It's far too large to be using like a torch, most people use a phone or an actual torch. Totally normal state of affairs.

EDIT

I just occured to m you might be talking about the photo-flash function. In which case I'd have to say again, most people use phones for that and taking pictures or video with a tablet for anything but videochat is generally not done.

Recently, my father is asking me to help him to decide

which tablet is good for reading documents, web browsing and take photos his on trip.

However, when I search on the internet, almost all of them are not equipped with a built-in flashlight.

I search though forums and sites, none of them have ever talk about the reasons for omitting the built-in flashlight.

Am I the one that noticed this matter or it is just normal.

Edit:

It should be a flash, not flashlight. Sorry if I mislead you.

A flashlight? Like a torch you'd use in the night? Or do you mean a shutter for the camera?

just get an app that will use the flash of the camera and you are set

That's exactly what he's saying : some tablets don't have a flash.

It's not a flashlight that's why you couldn't find anything about it. It's a flash for the camera but you can download apps to keep the flash on and use it like a flashlight, but it isn't a flashlight.

Oops, sorry for misleading....

It should be a flash at the back of the tablet.

Well, after hearing for you all, it sounds fine to me.

Thanks for inputs. :-)
