I built a computer a pretty long time ago and am just now getting super annoyed at the activate windows anyone know where i can get a cheaper version on windows 10?

SCDKey has worked for me, Science Studio has a discount code ( SKsstudio ) that you can use. I'd recommend not getting an OEM version though.

If you're in high school or university, you may be able to get one through your organization.

You can also just use windows un-activated with limitations

That's fair. I didn't know either until I had an ugly situation with them about 3-4 years ago.
