I am a total iOS guy... and need a cheap but decent android for my grandma

Hey guys,

I am a total Apple guy and am not that well informed about Android phones. Idd like to give my grandma a iPhone, but that is to expensive for her.

Therefore here is the use-case and budget I am searching a phone for:

  • Budget 250€ (+50 possible when worth it)
  • Buying in GER
  • Cam quality is very important (Photo much more than vid)
  • Decent screen. Phots and vids have to look nice, color room etc is not important.
  • Stock android or close to stock, that is up to date and will get updates in the future! Or the possibility to install stock on it would also be ok.
  • Decent CPU for everyday tasks, but no gaming
  • Some sort of fast charge did be nice
  • Fingerprint/face unlock (thats actually secure)
  • All screen design would be cool but not necessary
  • 32GB or more (or possibility to add a microSD)
  • Dont like Samsung, but IFFF then convince me why :P 

 

She trashed her Nexus Nexus 5X with wich she was super satisfied. So thats where she is coming from.

No iPhone 6s?  That should be in budget.  Or did iOS 13 kill it?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

iOS 13 didn't kill it but it won't get 14. And she is very anti  lol

Redmi looks cool, but I fear she won't get used to the UI. Getting her used to the stock android was already a PITA :P

If she can draw she’ll also get a huge kick out of the note.  The stylus on the note 3 alone was unbelievable.

Xiaomi Mi A3 can be a great phone for your grandma!

 

Under 200 Euros - 64GB or 128GB of internal storage - In Display fingerprint scanner - 3 Cameras at the back!

whatever Xiaomi, if you can go up to 300 you can easily get a xiaomi mi9 or a 9t pro

unlikely iphones (if I'm wrong I'm sorry) you can easily change the gui, or install a stock custom rom from xda

mi9 + a Stock Rom sounds awesome!
i have spotted a deal for 270!
