Can Seasonic M12ii 520w sustain Powercolor Red Devil RX 5700xt and Ryzen 5 3600 with MSI Tomahawk Max? (I'll upgrade my current cpu and motherboard to R5 3600 and Msi tomahawk max)

I'll upgrade to Seasonic Focus Gold 650w GX soon if I have enought budget or should I buy Ryzen 5 3600, MSI Tomahawk Max and Seasonic Focus Gold 650w GX at the same time?

Current Specs:

CPU: i5 6500

MOBO: MSI Nightelf

GPU: RX 5700XT

RAM: 2x HyperX 8GB 2666Mhz

PSU: Seasonic M12ii 520w

Thanks!

If you already have that power supply, yes it will be enough.

If you don't have it already, try to get a newer model as that design is kinda old (you can get power supplies with more protections built in and similar warranty for around the same money)

i would highly recommend to get the GX directly with it, as the m12ii lacks uvp on 12v rail, and is group regulated. with that it's double forward, so it's not only life-shortening for the components, it's annoying too

But do you think its okay that I get cpu and mobo first and then buy the GX 650w after a month? Ill undervolt my gpu thru the radeon software automatically.

If you already have the SS M12, just use it. Undervolt the GPU a bit, to ease strain on the PSU. Later you can upgrade to something better, but, it is not crucial at this moment.

Is it okay to auto undervolt my gpu or manual?

Is the Seasonic Focus Gold GX 650w enough or can you recommend more? $99 budget

take a look at Bitfenix Formula Gold and Whisper M Gold. These are generally cheaper than Focus, yet, they are top quality products. IF you have them available in your area.

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )

it's more than sufficient, even a good 550w would do perfectly fine here.

as @Vejnemojnen noted, i would take both of those over it, as they've shown to do better in testing

but we have this as well here
