asus ez flash 2

am trying to update  my bios, i have  downloaded the  latest .rom file and have it saved on desktop. i have located it in the ez flash but when i select the file it says "no  update  module is found in the  file", ive tried a usb stick and it doesnt work. have tried formatting it in fat, fat32 and ntfs still doesnt recognise it in the ez flash thing/ any tips would be appreciated :)

asus M5A78L-M LX3 (AM3R2), FX 6300 CPU, 1050TI, 8gb ram bios is a few versions out of date

Using USB ports on the back of the PC? (I/O)

yes ive tried ports on the back and front, doesnt make much  of a difference

Don't know then. Try flashing to NTFS and put file in again. Rember to unzip file (if zipped)

files are unzipped, i will try it again and come back with if it works or not
