So im looking to upgrade my current PC 
My specs as of right now is a 
RX 570 4GIG

Amd fx 4300

16GB of ddr3 ram

 

I like the GPU so i want to keep it but i need a new CPU and MB and i want to kow what would be best for playing VR and games like GTA V, RED DEAD 2 games like that,

Ngl i dont got a budget just what ever works and my psu is a 550w corsair

So this will be good at running games and VR at high fps ect, ik the GPU isnt the best but with current specs it can play games i like at ultra at a capped 60FPS

Well that would be a cheaper upgrade to do. Nothing wrong with it whatsoever

 

If you can afford it though- I'd get a Tomahawk max, R5 3600 and the same memory.

B450 mobo and Ryzen 3600 is a damn good bang for the buck combo, and DDR4 prices are pretty reasonable right now

Like the cpu will help- but your gpu, like you said, is still a 570. I wouldn't plan on running a higher end VR system on it, and definitely wouldn't plan on playing RDR2 on ultra.

That game is horribly optimized

ATM i can play games like Pavlov, superhot, i except you to die very good so i wansnt planning on playing games like Fallout4 VR but just somthing that can handle its self a lot better
