Help with Dual Shock 4 Controller!

Hey guys I wanted to play Shadow of the Tomb Raider with my PS4 controller. I turned off steam input and am using the controller wirelessly through DS4 Windows. The buttons in game show up as xbox not ps4 is there a way I can change this?

I don't think so.

Since DS4windows "simulates" the use of XBOX controllers...

I just plugged the controller in wired and it works. How can I get it to work wirelessly?

idr. When I plug it in with a usb and dont run DS4 windows it works but as soon as I connect it via bluetooth it does not work.

No i don't

I guess you're using Jays2King version which already discontinued. Remove that and install from Ryochan7 fork.

Regarding Bluetooth, which driver you use for your bluetooth dongle?

I didnt use a dongle. I an using my motherboards built in wifi its the Aorus ultra Z390. I did not install anything else. Also something weird is happening now it says driver error in windows bluetooth under the controller.

Can you take screenshot of that?  Bluetooth compatibility with DS4 is kinda iffy.

Try install driver from Ryokan7 DS4Windows. 

 

 

and then reboot.

maybe change profile name to ps4
