Standard gaming/streaming game pc.

AnkeLB

Hi guys,

As my son is getting 11 right now, he's kinda into gaming.

He loves to play fortnite, minecraft etc.. also a bit of CS:GO sometimes.

With christmas almost here, we are looking for a good build for our little guy to start gaming on his own (with us watching him, so he can't game untill late night)

Right now we are looking into either a secondhand pc, or a new one.

We have about 3-4 options right now.

But we don't really know what will get us the furthest, as he wants to "stream", or record for video's on youtube.

So high fps and no stutters is welcome :D

All that matters is that it's enjoyable game play, even when he is streaming. Without much compromising (and also good for recording for youtube)

Option 1 : This is a USED pc, about 8 months old and costs us €600.

PSU : Sharkoon WPM700 Bronze
Case : Sharkoon TG4 RGB ATX
Mobo : Gigabyte Z390 UD
CPU : i5 9600K
GPU : MSI Armor GTX 1060 6GB
HDD : 2TB Seagate
SSD : PCIe M2 970 EVO 250GB
RAM : Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666MHz (2x8GB)
Cooler : Coolermaster Hyper 412R

Option 2 : This is also a used pc, was built in August 2019. If we take this option, we have to buy a new gpu.

Case NZXT H510 Elite Zwart

PSU Corsair TX750M

Mobo MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon AC

CPU : i7-9700K

GPU : NONE (would have to buy one)

HDD : NONE

SSD : Samsung 970 Evo plus M.2 500GB

RAM : 2x Corsair LPX LP 8GB 3200CL16

Cooler : Noctua NH-D15

Option 3 : This would be a new one, that i would buy for him. Still requires a GPU , but that is easy to find secondhand. This would cost us 660€

Case : Fractal Design Meshify C

PSU : Corsair RM650x

Mobo : B450 Aorus Pro

CPU : Ryzen 7 3700x

GPU : NONE (have to buy one)

HDD : 2TB Western Digital

SSD : Samsung 860 Evo 250GB

RAM G.Skill Trident Z RGB 2x 8GB 3600MHz

Cooler : Stock cooler from CPU

Option 4 : This would also be a new one, that i would buy for him. Would cost us around 565€ . Also still requires a GPU, but as said, in Belgium that is easy to find secondhand (GTX 1070Ti's are 200-230€ here)

Case : Fractal Design Meshify C

PSU : Corsair RM650x

Mobo : B450 Aorus Pro

CPU : Ryzen 7 3600/3600x

GPU : NONE (have to buy one)

HDD : 2TB Western Digital

SSD : Samsung 860 Evo 250GB

RAM G.Skill Trident Z RGB 2x 8GB 3600MHz

Cooler : Stock cooler from CPU

Please give me your honest opinion, as we really don't know which one to buy.

We don't want to buy a pc, and then after buying it realizing we bought a bad one or something :)

So just for gaming (1080p 144hz) and streaming.

Kind Regards
