1. Budget & Location

Any help is much appreciated....the budget is just for the tower.  Any monitor recommendations would be awesome for a future purchase :)

or

msi b450 tomahawk max                 $114

support out of the box for 3rd gen ryzen

this board is better then the rog strix b450 f gaming

--------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------

msi b450m gaming plus                   $95

noteworthy mobo

has bios flashback, stuck on light bios<--its relatively good

Corsair h100i for $60 (absolute steal).  It didn't show up on pcpartpicker.

https://www.amazon.com/CORSAIR-Radiator-Advanced-Lighting-Software/dp/B07PJY3CF1/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=240+aio+renewed&qid=1576561124&sr=8-1

The 3600 and 3600x are the same exact chip, so no point in spending the extra $10 if you are going with aftermarket cooling (h100i).  That motherboard is the same thing as the b450m Pro4, it just has onboard wifi (and bluetooth I think).  Its not super flashy looking, but its reliable and you can overclock on it.

I've always been a propenent of MicroATX builds for gaming, as no one does dual GPUs anymore, and the saved desk space along with easier mobility of the system are nice things to have.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

The 3600X is definitely worth the extra $10 as you can claim Borderlands 3 or The Outer Worlds which is easily worth the $10 difference alone.

The XFX THICC II has really bad thermal performance if I am not mistaken. I think Gamers Nexus did a video on it.

That Corsair cooler looks good on paper, but it only has a 90 day warranty. Looks like it is a refurb unit ? If you can get the remainder of the warranty with Corsair then it is a good buy.
