Hello,

 

i connected my notebook ssd to my pc to transfer data. Now when i build the ssd back in my notebook my windows is behaving not normal anymore. when i try to open files text document etc. it says that i dont have authorization to open this file. contact your adminstrator...

 

the user i transfered data from are like this. I can not click on the windows button bottom left some programms dont start . i logged into the other user on my notebook and everything there works fine.

 

i hope you can help me.

Maybe when logged into the 'working' user account...copy everything you want to access to the other account [maybe change permissions on these files to access for all users?] then go back to your original account and all should be good...

how can i change the permission? what do i have to do exactly

you should be able to do this to a Folder, which will then apply to all files in the folder...right click, choose properties, then security and in the middle of that page you should see "To change permissions, click Edit" so click as instructed, then select the group of users you want the changes to affect, then choose the appropriate 'Allow' or 'Deny" boxes you wish, then 'Apply' and click your way out; that should do what you need to effect the wanted changes...

Hi, thank you. I tried that to the C:\Users and then the user. i get the error

I translated that from german :D. Im trying this for 2 hours now

C:\Users\User1\

error when enumerating objects in container access denied
