Build Review please :)

Go to solution Solved by Yuval,

the RM 650 is in stock, and you can pretty much choose a Asus or Gigabyte 780 ti with cooling, cheaper ram won't overheat, it'll also not interfere with any cooling you may add in the future

long story short, Get the D3H instead of the UD3H (unless you have to get some exclusive features on that motherboard)

Get an RM 650

And a 780 Ti of your choice

CPU: intel core i5 4670K - BOX

MB: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB DDR3 1600MHz

GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 290X TRI-X OC

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black WD1003FZEX

SSD: Samsung 840 EVO Series MZ-7TE120BW 120GB SSD

PSU: Corsair CX750M Modular 750W

Case: Corsair Vengeance C70 Gunmetal Black Case

Thank You ^.^

Edit:

-I go for 290X becouse i buy from a turist "TAX FREE" city in my country, i save about a 100$ and they dont have the 290 in stock :/
-its a future build (im buying a month from now)
-usage = heavy gaming (BF4, SC blacklist, Assassin's Creed 4 and more)

-loaction = israel (prices are much diffrent from america and europ) but the overall cost for me is about 1750 USD

well the components are fine and all but i would like some pictures, everyone can buy the parts if they have money, the build itself is what varies.

now... is this something you have buildt already or want to build? if so we have a build log and new builds and planning section on the forum, basicly need more information, it's hard to tell what to make of this thread based on 5 words.

9/10, some things could be improved, like the psu and bigger ssd.

I dont see reason to have more than 120GB of space on SSD if you are going to run only system and programs out of it. I personaly have all programs installed on SSD with my OS and still got 50GB of free space, depends on your preferences mostly.  But you are right with the PSU.

Very nice build. I personaly would go for R9 290 non X because it is cheaper and almost as much powerfull as r9 290x then you could save some money or go for 4770k i7.

See edit

It's an non reference card. Still the R9 290 point is rigth.

You should go for a 780 Ti with abit more, if your buying from KSP,

Also, i recommend a better PSU, to be precise http://ksp.co.il/?select=.1108..140.&list=1&sort=3&glist=1&uin=17673&txt_search=&buy=&minprice=0&maxprice=0

or the corsair RM 650

and to cut the extra money buy cheaper ram, still same performance

http://ksp.co.il/?select=.1038..392..103.&list=1&sort=3&glist=1&uin=20146&txt_search=&buy=&minprice=0&maxprice=0

Also, what CPU cooler will you use?

Also, going for the D3H instead of the UD3H seems like a solid idea

:/

edit

PSU for single GPU:

Seasonic G Series 550W

Corsair RM550W

yes 550W is completely fine for this setup but if you are worried then you might go for

Corsair RM650

Seasonic X Series 650

If you are going to upgrade you dont need to go over 800W for dual GPU r9 290x

Corsair AX760i

Corsair RM750

Corsair RM850

Seasonic X Series 750

Seasonic X Series 850

Just realized you can get a 780 ti for the price of that 290x, made by zotac, reference design. looks pretty neat.

I think I will go with a non reference - gigabyte winforce.

With nvidia non reference it's really just Asus or gigabyte. Right?

I'd suggest planning later then. ~2-3 days at most before you buy. Parts and prices change frequently so any parts list you come up with now will likely be obsolete by the time you're ready to buy.

No point getting a k series cpu with a motherboard that can't oc. You need a z87 motherboard to oc.
