Hello Everybody!

I have recently started working on completely redesigning my room! And I thought that it might be worth a shot posting the progress on this forum, just to get some feedback on the views ;)

First of all, let's start with the peripherals. All the peripherals I will be using for this project will be listed here!

  • Monitor: 3x Acer 24" S241HL
  • Gameboard: Logitech G13
  • Keyboard: Sharkoon Skiller
  • Mouse: Sharkoon Fireglider
  • Webcam: Logitech C920
  • Headset: Corsair Vengeance 2100

Of course, all of these peripherals have to be connected to a main computer system (no shit Sherlock?!). So just for the individuals who want to know, I will post those specifications as well!

  • Case: Fractal Design Define R4
  • Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty Z77 Professional
  • Processor: Intel Core i7 3770k
  • Cooling Unit: Noctua DH-14
  • Memory: 4x Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz 4GB
  • Storage: Kingston HyperX 3k 120GB
  • Storage: 3x Western Digital Se 4TB
  • Power Supply: Corsair RM850

I have been thinking about selling my GTX 780 and buying three new GTX 780ti's. Also, I have been thinking about selling my Noctua DH-14 for an Corsair H105. But i'm not sure about doing the both of two, because all the applications I'm using my computer for are working perfectly at the moment!

The first couple of steps have already been completed! I placed all my peripherals on my new desk and connected all the wires!

Just for the looks: a very nice painting of some old-school Coca Cola bottles! :)

I drilled the corresponding holes which allowed me route all my cables to my computer..

I double checked my power extender so it would not overheat and plugged all the neccesary cables into it!

After connecting all the wires for my router, computer and printer, I placed all three of them in the closet!

Notice that I was able to hide all these bulky cables! It was a very frustrating job to do to be honest!  ^_^
All of the USB peripherals are connected to a powered USB 3.0 Hub, which leads to my computer (blue cable).

With all the cables finished, these are the only four visible through my room! (Still planning to hide them behind the wooding plinth :) )

When these two steps were completed I i tidied up all the cables and stored my sound system and printer in the closet as well!

I will keep you posted with all the changes I will make! Hope you enjoyed! :) Lots of more to come!

Sorry for my bad english though, I am not born and raised in America/England or whatsoever ;)

Best Regards,
Elwin!

Very setup but...

1) Why replace your 780 with a 780ti seems of a waste of money for very minuscule difference, i'd say wait for maxwell but even then the 780 is still a beast card.

2) Why replace your rm850 psu for an ax1200i thats just overkill for sli 780ti's and the rm 850 could power both cards easily.

3) why do you have you sound system in your closet, can you even hear anything?

Btw very clean cable management.

I love the setup.  That desk is super sexy :o

But:

Replacing your 780 with a 780ti is kind of pointless

an rm 850 can easily support sli 780s

Oh I also want your floor and that cabinet :P
