I found an article that said if I wanted to keep a column (vertical) name to go to Windows and click on freeze below the column title.

That would have the title stay at the top of the window no matter what row (horizontal) you were at, like row 1000.

The title is at row 1 and goes across horizontally for about 8 rows with their own title.

There is a lot of work invested and I lost everything!

I tried doing Cntrl Z to undo but nothing happens!

HELP!

edit - ok I fixed the issue, i just had to go back to Window and click Freeze again to get all my info back. I will try to freeze just the titles of the vertical column. Which does not work.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

any ideas linus people?

If you place your cursor in the row or column below/to right of the row/column you wish to freeze (= remain always on screen), then select /Window /Freeze, the row/column selected will remain onscreen at all times; same action Unfreezes
if required.

so I clicked on b2 to make a1 to h1 stay in place as I scroll down. although that keeps a heavier line between column a and b, so I tried freeze method at a1 and it works good!
