lag cz of avast lol

so i get around 120 ping normally (without avast) and now i get 280 ping... when i turn it off, i get 120 again.. why? any reason?

Could be that it is scanning your network data for potential virus activities. see if you can turn off a option like "network monitoring"

Yeah, cause it's trash.  Use Windows defender + Malwarebytes instead.

malwarebytes has really low market share + bad reviews + too many cons and avast outperforms - i did a hell lot of research and it came down to kaspersky and avst, i chose avast cz it suited me :)

If it's making that big of an impact towards your network performance, don't use an antivirus at all. If you just use common sense, you should be fine.
