It’s anyone knows.
It’s an 2015 inter cpu with 4 cores.
it costs 8 dollars

That’s at least 4 different CPUs.  Maybe 5.  Look at the markings on the pcbs.  They’re all different.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

OP says that he found this CPU in chinese ebay. Its sold for $8 and it doesnt work on motherboards he tried.

OP: we cant suggest anything if it doesnt even boot, interesting enough it doesnt have the SMD components under cpu dies AND cores are on seperate dies, which is interesting.

Heh. My guess is he got snookered.  It’s not actually a cpu.  It’s a cpu shaped thing designed to make money for the seller.  Someone got ahold of some pin base pcbs for a few cents apiece, and some heat shields and glued little blocks to it for the photo.  There is zero anticiliary stuff.  None.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

So there's 100k pieces and no-one tried to analyze the die to see if it's actually a microchip or just a hotplate ?

That's exactly what a scam would look like. Make lots of fake chips for a couple of $ each and sell them for $70 on eBay... Since it looks like nothing you can dismiss all the "doesn't work" claims with some BS.

This is that a real 9500 looks likeScreenshot_20191203-084405_Chrome.jpg.2d0fd19feabbac85cadd4eb0488a5f33.jpg

And they're soldered so delidding is a pain

The other CPU in your original post has the IHS text on sideways.

Both appear to be fake, neither probably works at all

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

So they’re making a LOT of money?  If it is real it will likely need a special motherboard and possibly also a special OS.  Just because the pins fit in a given socket doesn’t mean they go to the same places.  The thing may be shaped like an am64 but that doesn’t mean it is one.  Also pics already have issues.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

8 dollars I would believe as a possible cost of manufacture for a working CPU. Manufacturing a CPU isn’t the expensive bit.  Designing it is.  If the design is stolen, manufacturing cost is the only thing.  This looks to be independently designed though, at least partially.

a random scenario:

Those could just be optically shrunk intel single core zenons for example all clustered on to one chip.  The ridiculously hard part of the design, the single core zenon, would have been done by others.  It would then behave like a really old 4 cpu zenon board (with speed benefits for optical shrinkage) the cpu design would have to be altered to make allowances for the optical shrinkage because power requirements change and some other stuff, but miles cheaper than designing a chip from scratch.  In this situation the pin outs would be totally different.  It’s not a 4 core cpu, it’s a 4 cpu cluster.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

I’ll support “probably”. “Definitely” though still out.  What if they’re not trying to copy that.  What if they’re trying to copy this:

总而言之他可能是个神经计算处理器,而且他的名字soma的翻译应该也能够证实这一点了

There were previous threads on this thing.  One weirdness is it has NO external fuse mounts or anything making some people think it’s a fake chip.  Others commented that it was apparently 4 optically shrunk old style pentium single cores on one die needing its own special motherboard.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Did you even look at the link? Not a CPU at all, just reusing the packaging for a different purpose.
