How to ADD an extra HD in a VM

Hello to you all.

 

Guys i'd like to ask what is the proper way to add another Hard Drive to an Existing VM in Hyper-V?

I'm not a pro when it comes to Hyper-V.

But i got a 500GB HD here with me(completely newish) and i'd like to use it as a media storage for photos music and videos. On the PC itself it's already Installed.

But i didn't configured the VM to recognize the drive. Would it be possible to show me the procedures in order to do that?

 

PS: The current OS in that machine is Windows Server 2012 R2. 

PS 2: Later in the future i'll be upgrading to Windows Server 2019.
