CPU overheating????

Trust Ryzen Master over all else when it comes to AMD Ryzen CPUs.

If I look at speccy. It says the cpu temp is 77c

But if I look at Ryzen master and Asrocks tuning software, it says it is 27c... I got no clue who to believe.

 

Any assistance will be most appreciated. 

 

P.S This is the 2nd cpu to be so HIGH. I even replaced the thermal past. I think there is something wrong with the MBord. Do you think I should update the bios?

I think the issue you're seeing there is that the one monitoring program says your cpu is 77 c rated on the hottest core and the other monitoring program rates the average of your cores . This sounds like a issue I've had with my i9900k with turbo boost enabled. Disabling it fixed my problem. Turbo boost seems buggy at the moment unless it just doesn't work for me ?

Speccy is bad for monitoring. 

Stick to one monitoring program at a time since they can interfere with each other. As mentioned, Ryzen Master is the go-to.
