Posted November 29, 2019 So I have a 128GB SSD which is full. It has my OS, and a good few programs on it. Unsurprisingly, it's virtually full. I really don't want to go through the hassle of redownloading everything on a new bigger SSD. From what I understand you can clone your drive and then just set your new drive as your boot drive. Is this a good idea and is it safe? Thanks in advance! P.S For those who might ask, I got a 128GB SSD because it was free, I knew eventually it was likely to fill up
 Posted November 29, 2019 Hi @Valley_ Create a backup image of your entire PC that is on the 12GB SSD, then, recover / restore that system image (the backup) onto your newer bigger drive, effectively that is a clone of the original PC image. You can download a free trial of Acronis's true image and use it for thirty days -click here- There are plenty of instructions on their website on how to use their software, for example, back up entire computer -click here- and then how to restore files using Acronis -click here- Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves (Abraham Lincoln,1808-1865; 16th US president).
