Find an old system you have lying around and put in the windows 7 key. Or buy one on Ebay for $5. Nobody on this forum will help you straight up pirate windows

You can run Windows 10 without activating it if you don't mind the watermark.

In my experience, having an unactivated copy of Windows 10 doesn't affect the functionality at all. What customization options are you looking for? You can still change the desktop background by right clicking on an image file, and there's not much else I've seen in the way of customization.
