Can Raidmax Cobra RX-500AF-B 80+ bronze 500w run gtx 1070 and i5 9600k @5ghz?

Im about to buy i5 9600k to replace my old cpu and i dont know if my 500w psu can handle oc @ 5ghz.

If it cant, which psu will be enough?

Get a different one. Going to 5GHz, I'd recommend a higher end option like the Corsair RM/RMx, Cooler Master MWE Gold or SeaSonic Focus GX.

 

I wouldn't recommend a 9600K in the first place though. If you haven't bought it yet, don't.

I already got z390 aorus pro so around 200e i5 9600k is my only option since i cant find anywear in my country used i7 8700k. Doing dark rock pro 4 with trident z 2x8 gb. I hope it will work on stock till i get something modular.

No, I wouldn't use it on stock either. It's a terribly bad unit, with an ancient design and concerning build quality.

Ok, so i looked up for cooler master MWE gold 650w and Be Quiet pure power 11 600w. They are almost same price but which psu is better?
