Do ikea desks come with holes pre threaded or does the person have to drill them?

Generally you don't need any tools except the allen key they include in the flat pack box and a flat/phillips head screw driver. Everything is either joined with screws or dowl.

Yea they are usually predrilled. One of the desks i got they did.

I've got one. Lift the wood slab with your legs! not your knees!.. found that out the hard way.. And yes it's pre-drilled/pre-threaded

Check out the desk guide in my sig, it shows one of the pre-drilled sides. All that I've ever bought have come pre-drilled.
