Don't have experience with any of those, but a local game publisher that has some bigger mobile games.
 

They're there to run a business. You have to sell your product and keep it refined. 

The way they see you is an investment. It's not really as *fun* as it's made out to be. Lots of numbers, meetings and frustration

They are essentially same as production companies for movies and TV or publishers for books. They are spending their money on you to make it back as tenfold.

 

All depends on the contract made. You will be working for them.
