the manual specifies that it has ON BOARD GRAPHICS

it probably means that it supports onboard graphics. What does it say specifically?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?

It will support on board grpahics, like i5 9400 and i5 9600k has them. But your 9400f does not have igpu so your pc wont post without gpu

ok so the manual also specifies in the Specifications section that the motherboard supports 8th gen processors , and the trick is that when i brought the motherboard online ,actually even now if you look up on amazon or newegg ... it displays in specs that it accepts 9th gen and 8th gen. I have both the cpu and motherboard , as i know it wont post without a GPU but my concern so will i have any issues regarding bios ? do i have to flash/update bios with an older 8th gen processor in order to be able to use my i5-9400f CPU ?

It's possible to get a board with a non-updated BIOS, also possbile to get one with the right BIOS.

If you want to be safe, get a B365 board (or a MSI (Tomahawk/Pro Carbon/etc.) MAX B450 + Ryzen 5 3600 :) )
