How do I enable Hardware Sensors in POP! OS ?

I want to monitor temps, etc. But "Hardware Sensors Indicator" does not have default access to live temp data.

Run it as root with sudo.

 

If you don't want to do that every time, try polkit.

Here are three solutions that you can do.

1. Reinstall "lm_sensors" and "hddtemp". Run "sensors-detect" in terminal and type "yes" to all.
2. Use "psensor" instead of HSI.
3. POP! OS based on Debian/Ubuntu. Instead of HSI, you can prefer "lm_sensors" or here's a GUI alternative "hardinfo"(System Profiler and Benchmark) which is looks like to AIDA64.

Thanks for reminding me about Psensor. I used it regularly years ago.
