will 750w be enough for future GPU's?

i have a 2080ti and im not very happy with its performance so i told my brother i'd sell it to him when a newer GPU arrives like an RTX3080ti or something, but the problem is that ones a newer GPU arrives do i need to upgrade  my Powersupply from 750w to 850w?

 

or is 750w future proof?

Unless you expect your future GPU draws way more power than the 2080Ti. For single GPU, I have a hard time to imagine that. 2080Ti already draws like 300w if you overclock it. Do you expect Nvidia, AMD or Intel will release a new GPU that can draws WAY more power than 300w?

 

Unless you plan to use more than one GPU.

Why don't you cross that bridge when you come to it. No point worrying about if your current PSU is enough to power a graphics card that doesn't exist. I would be extremely surprised if next generation of graphics cards required an 850w power supply. Unless you were planning on using two cards to get the performance you're expecting, assuming that sli is even possible with next gen cards.
