Hello,
I have a razerblade 15 2018 advanced model 1060 maxq. And for local training, I plan to buy external GPU, but my concern is has anyone run tried this configuration and made it work?

 

To be more specific, I plan to run this setup on ubuntu 18.04 on my blade and buy the razer core x, but while searching online, didn't find any proper guides. Has anyone made such a config work?

 

It is a sizeable investment for me.

Not for AI, but for BOINC and F@H on MacOS. know this site?

Guess they can help you. I can only help you hardware wise and for getting it to work on Mac.
