New graphics card ideas

radioactive999

Hello this is my first post.

Yesterday i was playing counter strike when my radeon 370 2gb stopped working and just displayed a solid green color, so i think its dead, which sucks so i need a new graphics card but i have no idea where to start. i have heard nvidia are good video cards but my current card which is ATI served me well so idk? my budget is about £150-£200 for a new one and i play games such as counter-strike, gmod, the sims and sometimes minecraft. so thanks for any suggestions

my computer components are:

fx 6300 3100mhz

asus M5A78L-M motherboard

8gb ddr3 memory

corsair 430 watts power unit

seagate 320gb 7200 rpm hard drive

coolermaster case atx

thanks for any help

for this budget: RX 590. But you might need a new PSU

And a strong recommendation to get some kind of SSD!

Yeah an RX 590 seems about right however you're going to need a much better PSU and that CPU will cause a bottleneck.

Not that much. 550/600 (decent unit) will be ok.

Sure the CPU will, but OP has to start somewhere with upgrades. Giving the death of the GPU (RIP!) I guess he has to start there

With that CPU id just put an rx 570 4 gig in it unless you want to use the new GPU as an upgrade part for later on
