Maybe you broke something during this awesome cable management job?

Have you tried isolating the problem?

stellar cable management job!

did you switch the psu on?

did you plug everything in?

is your psu modular or not?

if its modular, make sure everything is properly inserted.

psu = powersupply

Is this a "spot the problem" challenge, where you know what's wrong and want us to see if we can find it? I think there's a 4 pin CPU power cable hanging free on that image.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

If you follow the cable, there is a 2nd one bundled with it and does go off to a 4 pin header that you can see in the north west corner of the CPU cooler on the image.

It sounds like a power cable isn't plugged in, if you're not getting any signs of life at all then most likely the motherboard 24pin. Also make sure the power supply switch on the back of the power supply unit is turned on as well as turned on at the wall outlet.

Can you post a photo of the system after you did cable management that way we can see if there might be anything that isn't plugged in properly.

So you have plugged in:

- Motherboard, CPU, cooler

- PSU, with the 24 pin and 8 pin in the motherboard, possibly some cable(s) in your GPU, SATA cables are not necessary to get it to startup.

Have you alternatively tried the PSU paperclip test, or simply swapped back to your old PSU (since that worked before the upgrade)

If there is no action at all in the system (as you in you press the power button an nothing happens), it probably has something to do with:

- Motherboard (24 pin, RAM or CPU perhaps)

- PSU (could be dead, could not be powering up, could have its switch on the back set to 'off')

- Case (power button could be improperly wired up)

An easy mistake to make! For some reason.

I  rebuild my PC like 4 times the other day (issues with NZXT case and switching out mobos / CPUs) and one time it just wouldn't boot...

When I finally figured out the issue and plugged the CPU power in the PC still wouldn't boot! Turns out it was the new RAM and I had to reset BIOS despite the super duper debug LEDs of my MSI mobo still showing "CPU"  ?

I tried a few things it boots up then turns off th gpuis out I think it's dead so I'm getting it replaced tomoz but I haven't tried the paperclip test the power supply is brand new but can get that replaced no issue idk what's up... :/

Before you do anything please post a picture of your PC how it does look now and make sure we can see the whole thing,  just make a full frontal picture including the whole case,  it's easier to figure out what might be wrong that way
