The Beat That's In My Heart

Diego Misse

Hello, and good evening, Reader. ^-^
Okay... So, I was recently gifted with the Apple's Airpods Pro device, and I was told that it is water-proof... But I am wondering; can swim (4 meter pool) or shower (regular splashin') wearing them? That would be quite amazing, but... I rather refrain myself from testing, as I'm not quite sure how proofed it is against water on those two mentioned scenarios... So, could you guys tell me? Assuming some of you know, of course.

I believe they're designed to be water resistant not 'water proof'. Regular instances where they come in contact with sweat or a bit of rain is fine. Showering or going in a pool, not so much.

No IP rating = crap

IP rating = can use in the rain

Bar pressure rating = can be used for swimming

The title reflects perfectly the content contained within my post. If you think not, you should most likely work on your data synthesis ability. ❤️

You should not swim with the Airpods Pro. They are not rated to be submerged in water and we definitely do not know how long the splash proof IP rating lasts.
