So i think it was 2 days ago that i made a post asking what would be the best GPU for around $600USD. After reading the replies i was told to buy a 780 or 780Ti so i settled for the 780 cause i dont really have the money nor do i see my self needing the extra Horsepower any time soon. So basically im buying a 780, but i have no idea which one to get.

I always used to respect Asus a lot and i still do but i don't hear much about there cards anymore. They seem to always be clocked lower than other manufacturers. So seeing that i was like well everyone is buying EVGA cards and so ill get one of them and after looking into it, it seemed like a fair deal. Then CES rolled around and i saw the MSI 780 Lightning and i was thinking i gotta have it. Saw that it was a beast and was clocked pretty high and is really good for overclocking but i read some reveiws and people kinda pooped on it. Saying that it has alot of problems even though it performs really well.

So im still sitting on the fence as to which 780 card i should buy..... Any suggestions? I just want one of the most powerful, quite cards that i can buy that is around 550 or less.

Thanks for you help,

Matt

you can always buy the Asus model just for the cooler and overclock it yourself. EVGA has a habit of superclocking unstably, in my experiences.

I just remembered that they had the 780 SC ACX at such a good price, I really need to get it, the thing is, I have a 770. and $300, so What do I do? I'm not looking to sell the 770, but I'm $100 away, and I don't know what to do with the 770 anyway,

Save the money and stick with what you have?

What's your reason for wanting the 780? It doesn't have a really massive increase over the 770.
