How big of an fps improvement would an upgrade give me

So I recently bought a 144hz monitor, so I'm now collecting money to switch from fx8320 to a ryzen 2600. Just out of curiosity, how big of an improvement would it give me? I mainly play Rocket League, occasionally Rust, LoL and R6 Siege. I know the speed difference is huge, but how huge.

It also depends of your GPU, so what's your GPU ?

It depends on how much of an bottleneck the FX is in those games.

What I can say is it would eliminate the huge framedrops and microstutters. But I have no experience with the exact games you mentioned.

I don't know if it's even relevant since it's a 3600x and both using a 2080Ti but I'd say you'll have at least a 25% increase FPS.

Depends on the graphics card and resolution. I'm assuming you're using the same system on your profile - an RX 580 - and that you're running the game at 1080p.

If so, here's the video someone made of the Ryzen 5 2600 + RX 580 running Rocket League. Go ahead and compare it to whatever performance you get with your current setup.

I saw a video of Rocket League being played on an FX 8320 + RX 480 and a Ryzen 5 2600 + RX 580, and the difference was definitely not trivial, but it looked fairly smooth on both systems.

I own both CPUs and already did an extensive testing with different GPUs,

In those specific games the FX CPU is enough for more than 60 FPS,

The Ryzen CPU will give you a nice increase in FPS but is not worth the money if those are the only games you play.

It would enable me to buy more games because I would then "complete" my setup. So, I'd still enjoy high fps on my 144hz. And it would still give me a better experience in the future.
