is there any way to use a elgato hd60 to record my gameplay but still play at 144hz?

my pc can't handle streaming overwatch that well i think it's my cpu

but i may be acquiring o pc with a (probably) 4th gen i5 or i7 which i could use as a streaming pc

i already have a elgato hd60 so i was wondering if this was possible in any way

it doesn't make sense to buy the really expensive 4k one in that case i would be better off getting a better cpu

What's your current PC?

This might have some info

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

this should work, thanks!

Are you already using NVENC in OBS?

You probably just need to limit your fps, maybe drop the monitor to 120hz so the GPU has more resources to work with.

That PC should have no real issues streaming.
