Does being logged-in to Steam drain battery life?

Steam, battle.net or any game launcher.

I'm not talking about having the Steam tab in the background, but just being logged-in to it.

If it's updating or downloading games in the background, yes, it'll chew through a little extra power. Otherwise no, and I'm not sure how much it would even be using.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.
