please help if this is even fixable

helppp

when I plug in my graphics card (the six pins on the gpu) the whole computer turn off and won't turn back on until I unplugged it. I've tried using a different motherboard and PSU but nothing is happening still. what should I do

Just to be clear... you are not actually plugging or unplugging the power cables WHILE the computer is running?

This sounds like you're plugging and unplugging it while the PC is on. Don't do that ?

when I plug it in while it's off and press the on button it turns off

no I just plug in the 6 pin and it truns on for a split second and turns off

You should turn of your PSU and remove the power cord to it and then you plug in the 6pin PCIe connector to the GPU. After that you plug in the power cord to your PSU and turn on your PSU and computer.
