what am4 motherboard should i buy?

MSI b450 tomahawk, a-pro, gaming plus or mortar are good and not too expensive.

Probably be looking at the B450m Pro4 or AC from ASrock.

 

Or B450 Mortar from MSI. Or B450 PRO A from MSI.

It depends, i quess. If you don't want to upgrade to a 12/16 core cpu later, you don't really need a high end mobo. 
But why do you want to get a r5 2600 instead of the 3600? It is a lot faster

I mean, I purchased the MSI B450 Tomahawk motherboard. Whilst it is an expensive board, it performs good and allows for future upgradability. 

 

If you don't have around £100/$130, the Gigabyte B450M DS3H should work fine. But beware that newer CPUs might require more VRM cooling.

I think i would go with a low end b450 mobo and the 3600 still
save some money on the mobo and have a decent cpu
even budget mobos are not that bad anymore

What motherboard would you go with i dont have another am4 cpu so i dont know how i would flash the bios

a lot of b450 boards come Ryzen 3000 ready by now.
The MSI b450-pro VDH max is pretty cheap here, i dont know how much it is where you are from
