Msi afterburner fps on screen help.

no, it should work for every game, but maybe it doesnt work with certain games, depends on the compatibility, i'm gonna re test destiny 2 and see if it works with it.

now go to the on screen display window ->Toggle OSD and setup your hotkey, and once you are ingame, use your hotkey and it should come up.

Go to settings - Monitoring Tab - Check off Framerate - Check the box that says Show in On-Screen Display.

it doesnt work on certain games, like for example it doesnt work on destiny 2 for me, dont know about other people, but thats my personal experience

In the settings look for the option to set the overlay hotkey to toggle it on and off. And it will only work in a game not on the desktop

yeah, it doesnt work on the desktop, it only works in games, but give me a minute, now i cant get my on screen display either lol, a moment to figure it out

I have the exact same GPU and have no problems with MSI Afterburner OSD.

 

In the settings of Afterburner:

Monitoring>Framerate

Tick the "Show in On-Screen Display" then apply.

there is something wrong with my msi afterburner, i dont have the show on screen display option, i'm gonna try to uninstall and reinstall it and see

Did you install "RivaTuner Statistics Server"?,It comes with MSI Afterburner and is required for the OSD to work.

yeeeeeeh, i was just about to reply about that, i uninstalled it a week or so ago when i was cleaning my pc from softwares that i didnt use; cause i forgot that it was for msi afterburner, i thought it was a random app that i installed while i was trying to get on screen display lol, my bad, it should work properly now

Works in almost all games, but some games block overlays. Make sure you have a key selected to toggle the overlay on or off under the OSD tab
