which dell aio is better

Guest

Overall, the XPS One, but I'm sure there are better AIO's out there. Don't suppose there's any way we can convince you to build your own PC? :)

If you want some better suggestions we need to know your budget (and currency type), location (UK, I'm assuming) and what you want to do with it (gaming, video editing, 3d modeling, ect).

AIO's aren't really good for gaming, the XPS you linked wouldn't be very capable.

It isn't that bad of a price considering the screen, but you could probably do better if you were willing to build it yourself in a standard form factor.

Well with All-In-One's you really can't beat Mac (never thought I'd suggest a Mac), I'd suggest getting a mac (http://store.apple.com/uk/buy-mac/imac?product=ME086B/A&step=config) and then boot-camping Windows on it for any applications that require it.

From a quick search it seems that Dell XPS One is pretty much at the top of the PC AIO's and is in your budget...

Edit: Of course, if you want anything GOOD at gaming or video editing the best path is building your own standard tower PC.
Linus just reviewed a hard-core AIO, I'm going to try to find it...

Edit 2: Found it, Crate Computers, they basically strap a small tower to the back of a monitor, Linus's Review:
Their website: http://www.cratecomputers.com/collections/computers

Looks like they're a bit outside your budget though :(

Things have changed a lot recently, you can build seriously good PCs in really small form factors.

A GT640M is not going to be capable of gaming, especially at 1440p, you will get much more enjoyment out of a mini-ITX build.

i am not really looking for a serious gaming thing, got a console for that so before i make my last decision which one is better

So gaming is ruled out, to be honest I'm struggling to give my opinion here, both systems are horribly balanced.

IMO the XPS doesnt have the graphics power to run a 1440p monitor and the 2350 has a pretty odd selection of components. You could even get a much better laptop for that price.

Neither of them would make sense for your requirements. Sorry I just can't dish out bad advice...

Not really again for the same reasons the systems aren't really well balanced and upgrades are very difficult as well as heat issues when rendering.

What about building in something like this?

Here's the dimensions:

Guys I know building a system is a lot better but he clearly isn't interested so if the aio ones aren't good just suggest a good laptop for his price he's got a decent budget
