amd Worth or not?

I have amd r5 1600x stock clocks and 1070 ti and mobo is b450. Since those new zen2 processors came, i have been thinking them. So the main question is it worth to upgrade to for example r5 3600 or r7 3700x? Or do i just go for 4-5years with 1600x.

Depends 

 

- Do you have expendable income? 

 

- Do you play a lot of games that like higher IPC?

Imo - keep it. 1070ti isn't that powerful and a 1600x is plenty wide for most tasks.

 

Reassess when you upgrade your GPU.

Well now that i think little more, i think it is not worth afterall seeing that comparison video, thanks nerslayer.

 

And yes plutosaurus i think it is more wiser to change cpu and maby the whole system when it is time to upgrade gpu.
