Hello mates! Building new system. Need good psu (cant afford to pay a lot)

Pc specs: mobo:

asrock b365m-pro4

I5 9400f

G.skill 2666mhz 2x8gb ddr4

Samsung ssd 500gb

RTX 2060 super

Need solid  550w 80+ gold PSU suggestion. Up to maximum 100$.

Im thinking about 550w supernova G2-G3. Had this for like 5 years with no issues. Any cheaper/better suggestions?

Evga go G2 and not G3, otherwise TXM, RMX, Masterwatt gold, Pure Power 10/11 are good options too.

Though I would also change for a better CPU and motherboard if you haven't bought them yet.

would change this entire component list. 6c/6t isnt optimal and there is a quite a bit of money to be saved on the SSD.

G3 is worse than G2 by a noticable margin. avoid the G3.

PSUs to look at including the ones mentioned above is the Bitfenix Whisper M 550w and Straight power 550w. or save a bit on a cx 550

Have you bought this yet ?

I’d recommend going the AMD route with a 3600 (6C/12T) and a B450 tomahawk or if you need more I/O, a gaming pro carbon.

9400f isn’t a good value cpu.

as for your PSU, both @GoldenLag & @Plouffe having given some good recommendations. My own would be going with a good quality 550w model like TXM or Rmx. Straight power is also a good option.

MSI B450 Pro Gaming Pro Carbon AC | AMD Ryzen 2700x  | NZXT  Kraken X52  MSI GeForce RTX2070 Armour | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4*8) 3200MhZ | Samsung 970 evo M.2nvme 500GB Boot  / Samsung 860 evo 500GB SSD | Corsair RM550X (2018) | Fractal Design Meshify C white | Logitech G pro WirelessGigabyte Aurus AD27QD

With a $100 budget, I'd look at a Corsair RMX series.  MSRP is higher, but if you look around for for deals at most of the retailers, you should find something within your budget.  Most of my personal systems use these since it's a good mix of features, value, and warranty.
