Mac Bootcamp Help

A few weeks ago, I helped a friend of mine install Windows on his MacBook Pro with bootcamp.

However he came to me yesturday and said it's now broken.

I looked at it and basically when he selects to boot into Windows, there is no display.Either that or it try's to load, fails and then boots into Mac OS.

 

Any advise on how to solve this problem? If it was a native Windows PC have trouble, I would just reinstall the entire OS but this a Mac, so not so sure.

Just use the Bootcamp utility in macOS to remove the Bootcamp install and install Windows again. Tell your friend not to mess with the display drivers next time.

I see. 

Though I doubt he knows how to mess with the display drivers.

It might be a good idea to disable automatic updates, and enable critical updates only. Cause random updates have a tendency of bricking windows and restarting into recovery... at least on macbooks...
