Tkinter Gui for Raspberry PI MFRC522 RFID Reaeder

I am trying to make a Gui for the Raspberry Pi MFRC522 RFID Reader but when I launch following code it does not work the Gui code works fine and the MFRC522 code works only outside of tkinter

I am not getting any error messages but im also not getting an console output when i hold a RFID chip near the reader
