How does my thermal past application look?

First time builder well thisnisnmy second build my first one blew up due to faulty psu or motherboard. So I had to reapply my own thermal paste on the wraith prism 2 can anyone tell me if this is ok? Probably used 2 rice grain amounts and rubbed it all over. Thanks

Should be fine. What's important is that directly above the die is properly covered. Most people use the pea method where they let the cooler spread it out.

 

Both work though and you have enough applied.
