Is this normal?

Hello 

I am new to this so I am sorry if I had posted on the wrong forum

anyway I got a 200+ GB ssd and I had just migrated my OS from my hard drive. When I go look into my ssd it says I had used 200GB already. Is this normal? what should I do?
 

my operating system is windows 10

how much did the OS take up on the hard drive ?

How big was the old drive? How much space was being used? If you simply cloned the old drive and wrote to the new one it's an exact copy so if you had more than just your OS on it then it'll be on the new drive.

My old drive was about the same, this was after I reset my pc and chose the option “delete apps keep settings” something along them lines. When I was cloning my drive I selected migrate OS, wouldn’t that mean it moves my OS only?

Run a program like treesize or windirstat to see what is taking up the space. Its probably programs or user files, windows doesn't use that much space normally.
