My gpu usage is at 0% when im playing COD modern warfare and cpu is at 100%. I opened apex legends and it worked fine around 70%. Tried changing every setting that could be affecting it but no luck. Went into nvidia control panel and power settings for windows. PC then starts to freeze a lot..... feels like cpu doing all the work.

changed physX to graphics card

cpu i5 7600k

gpu rtx 2070 super

ram 32gb

You may need to DDU in safe mode and reinstall the latest nvidia drivers, if you often update it every time there's a new one through Geforce Experience soon or later the left overs from previous drivers conflicts with the new ones breaking things.

I have spent past few hours/days trying many fixes including DDU, full windows reset and reinstalling everything, online fixes telling me to change nvidia control panel settings. But still no fix and same issues. Having to run game a lowest setting even then its too much for CPU sometimes causing pc to freeze and apps to stop working. Even RGB fans freeze.

You don't need anything, it's jsut some bug/issue/usage pattern in CoD that causes Windows task manager not to report GPU use.

Launch MSI afterburner and you'll see it's doing its job.

MSI shows its being used but game is still not smooth at lowest settings with a 2070 super. I just dont get how thats possible.

Just a botched release, game's quite buggy at the moment...

I have no issues with my 2080ti at full ultra with ray tracing enabled... getting on average 60-80 fps at 1440p. Its not really buggy from my experience.
