If you play games on a 4k monitor you will need a good GPU

The more expensive one has inevitably bad speakers, fewer inputs, and is older. Other than that yeah they're feature equivalent

The top one is apparently 4k 144hz display at $850 which ain't bad, though it is only 27"

The bottom one is also a 4k 144hz display but at $700. The top one is more expensive because it's an older model and the features were less common when it was released, hence the higher price.

Well do you really need a 27" 4k 144hz display for the sharpness?

As you can get 100-120hz 1440p ultra wides for $400

for 4k I'd go for a 32" or 40" display, but I think the only one is still that wasabi mango around $1000

Just go for the cheaper of the 2.  Well at scorptec computers there selling that exact same model for $1,452 reduced from $1699 so they are cheaper your showing us.
